Welcome to Weight Lifting Programs Online, my name is Josh Holland.
I created this site to help individuals find productive and current weight loss solutions. There is so much outdated garbage information on the Internet, not to mention a lot of it is just plain wrong.
You can learn more at my Quickest Way to Lose Weight page here.
I myself was in a similar situation not too long ago, turning to the Internet for a solution. You can read more about me here if you wish, but I’m not all that interesting I assure you.
I can however relate to where you are at in your life right now and my objective for this site is to give you some great advice and tips that you can implement today.
I find that small changes are a great way to start progressing towards your goals. Some people may feel an “all or nothing” approach is better suited for them, but I disagree with this:
I find it much more difficult to make lifestyle changes too drastically. It is like a shock wave on your system. You may be able to keep it up for a week or two, but eventually you’ll burnout and fall back into your bad habits.
This is not to say you can’t succeed in doing it this way, I just feel it is much more difficult. So alternatively I stress making small adjustments that you can continually build on.
For instance one of the first steps I took was reducing my soda intake. Now it is easier to replace a habit with another habit, so I incorporated Sobe Lifewater into my diet.
I had been at 3-4 cokes/day. But with this method I dropped that down to 1/day. Is this perfect? Am I doing everything I should be? Of course not, but it is a small improvement that I can build on.
For instance my next step may be to add a vegetable into my lunch everyday. And then another at dinner.
I’m sure you get the idea here. Just pick something small that you can change today, and look to build on that tomorrow.
I hope you can incorporate this idea into your weight loss program. To help you I suggest you check out Lance Armstrong’s MyPlate calorie counter. That thing literally saved my life.
To Your Success,
Josh
